Tyson's Ariya Requested Super Nachos

Make the "Tyson's Ariya Approved Burrito Bowl

In addition to the recipe above you'll need:
Chips
1 Can drained Beans of choice

Add Beans to your seasoned meat and stir.
To assemble Nachos it should look like this in a bowl:

Cheese
Salsa
Sour Cream
Couple Spoons of Meat/Beans
3-4 Chips (cover diameter of bowl)
Cheese
Salsa
Sour Cream
Couple Spoons of Meat/Beans
Chips (cover diameter of bowl)
Cheese
Salsa
Sour Cream
Couple Spoons of Meat/Beans
Chips (cover diameter of bowl)
etc.

Place in microwave until the cheese is hotter than Lava. You'll know this based on how burned your finger is as compared to your feet.

Tyson's Ariya Approved Burrito Bowl

See Hab-Low Burrito... See I'm cultured, my yogurt told me so.

2 Pounds Beef, Ground
2 Packs McCormick Taco Seasoning Mix - Carne Asada, 0.87 oz Mixed Spices & Seasonings (FYI check the pack get the correct size for 2 pounds of beef. You'll only make this mistake once.)
1 Cup Mountain Dew
Tator Tots, seasoned with Bolner's Fiesta Mesquite Fajita Seasoning

Toppings:
HERDEZ Guacamole Salsa
Peach Salsa
Sour Cream
Cheese
etc.

Place the Beef, Seasoning, Mountain Dew, and a Small Dollop of sour cream into your instapot. Cook for at least 2 hours. It does make a difference.
Cook your Tator Tots up so they are crisp.
Drain the Beef Fat and Mountain Dew.

Serving:
Add 10 or so Tator Tots in the bottom of a bowl and 1/2 a Cup of the Seasoned Beef.
Add Toppings.

Serve with love or fake it until you make it.

Notes:
You can make this into actual burritos, but that is not Ariya Approved.

Recipe: Tyson's 6-ingredient Ariya Approved Stew.

While adventuring in the outback of the local hunting club, yes, Sam's Club, I came upon a beef tree. I said to myself, "Self, what based on this weeks amazon order expedition, can we make using the bounty from this beef tree?"

Looking in my adventure buggy, a cart to you uncultured types, I found myself with Potatoes Rock Meat and Carrots orange Dirt Sticks. Also Beef Tree Sap and a bunch of Flavor Dust.
So I said to myself:
Self you can make Fred, like stew, but Ariya doesn't like stew.
or
You can cook up some Bill... Like Fred, when Ariya doesn't like Stew or Fred.

---

1-2 Pounds Precut Stew Meat
1/8 to 1/4 Cup Bolner's Fiesta Mesquite Fajita Seasoning depending on taste and how new the seasoning is. if the seasoning has been open for a while add more.
1 Pound Carrots cut into 1 inch sections
2-3 Pounds Sliced Potatoes cut in 1/2 then into 3/4 inch wide sections
1 Pound Mushrooms sliced (small enough your child can't see it behind the beef)
2 cups Beef Broth (Give the other 2 cups to your dog... yes I am aware your dog now loves me more than you.)

Dump the Beef, Broth and 9/10ths of the Seasoning into your instapot. Start the Instapot set 2 hours on Slow Cooker.
Alternatively you could brown the stew meat in oil... but why?
Does it taste better?
Slightly...
Is it Ariya Approved? Sometimes.

Take the Mushroom Powder... Or small chunks.. the size of atoms! and butter, ACTUAL BUTTER. Margarine is NOT food, and yes I can believe it is not butter.. Add the rest of the seasoning and a bit of oil (I recommend avocado). Cook the Mushrooms until they are browned. I have found this is when they stop bubbling like 3 teen girls on their way to the most recent (highly annoying) boy band show. Place the Mushrooms into the Instapot.

2 hours Later
(You said it in the voice, just admit it.)

Add the Veg and set the slow cooker for 4 hours.
Serve with love... or the closest thing too it you can manage.

Notes:
If you like your stew thick. No need to add a thickener. Dice a potato and  cook it all 4 hours. Stir.

2 Tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce can be added. However you must say "The sauce so bad they tried to hide it!" when you add it. This is NOT Ariya Approved.

Dodge Caravan Camper

I have been working different options to do a kitchenette for the van to allow to do trips and camping. By adding a small table I will have a small propane stovetop and prep area.
The Ikea cabinet was purchased for just under $100 combined.
I no longer recommend Coleman brand coolers as the plugs keep over heating and melting. I have hacked a USB fan to constantly blow on the plug and I no longer have to replace the plugs weekly.

With the addition of a folding mattress (Folding Mattress Guest Bed Camping Cot Tri-Fold 4" Foam Sofa Floor Mat with Removable Washable Cover Full Size 53x75 Inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C6MVTPY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hxifBbEBXM1NC) and a cot suspended between cup holders on each side for Ariya. We can comfortably sleep the entire family.

Additional work still needs to be done including bug screens, which are attached with magnets, to allow for airflow.
As well as privacy curtains which will be attached using large paper clips as seen on Pinterest.

More doll clothing

Seriously considered making a Newsie hat so that it looked like a mini me wearing clothing made from my clothing.

Ariya wanted a baby boy...

...But I wasn't going to pay for another twin, or a triplet, just to get boy clothing.

So I made some.

Spinning Down

So this post is about how NOT clever I can be. Should have bought stuff to save time and money a long time ago.

First the Food Processor

I have spent over 3 hours a week for the last year making a weeks worth of food. I eat roughly the same thing every day and don't generally mind that at all.

Most of my time is spent cutting the food in preparation to cook.

I bought the BLACK & DECKER FP6010 Performance Dicing Food Processor.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VHLXLZM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I finished cooking all my meals in less time than it would have taken to dice my food without the machine. Less than an hour from send to end. A little longer to let it finish cooking in the oven (Time i don't generally include in my overall time.)

Second:
I Airdry 90% of my laundry. Well 90% of what covers my flesh is Air Dried. it is by item count 80% or space consumed about 95%.

It takes forever and often times the clothing (Levi's) isn't (aren't) dry for days.

I have wanted a spin dryer for a long time. SOoo I purchased one of these with a portion of the Tax Return.

The Laundry Alternative Mega Spin Dryer, Huge 22 Pound Capacity
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0150X71NU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

1 load of laundry and close to 3/4 of a gallon of additional water came out of my load in 5 minutes and it was still coming out when I stopped the machine to hang the clothing.

My work shirts came out almost completely dry.

Like so many other things ordered long after they should have been. I am very pleased.
This should also use less power. The automatic setting on the dryer ran for less than 1/3 the usual time for my work clothing (amount of stuff doesn't change much at all).
Which means it saved about as much as switching the whole house to LED bulbs for a day (assuming you are like a mother I know and need to have 200watts of power to see the sun... at noon... on Mercury... during a Solar Flare.)

A Plant hanger... On the cheap.

Amazon wanted some thirty dollars for a hanger that looked anything to what I would call decent.

So I made one out of 550 cord that I will call... Decent because it cost $3.

I got bored. Imperfectly.

A podcast I was listening to was talking about imperfection. How it is the little blemishes that add character to things.
I've written posts about this at another blog.
So I was thinking about my former online dating profile and how I said something along the lines of Imperfectly perfect.
Then there was this rabbit hole....

2013 mail time alert.

This is a doorbell coupled to the mailbox so that when the door on the box opens it rings in the house. The doorbell itself has been hacked to play the blues clues mail time song, which my twenty something year old sister loves. The goal for this project was to not have to buy anything else. This was done entirely with scrap on hand.

The other armrest I made in 2013

And still use today.

In 2013 I needed an armrest.

Decided I needed a pull out arm rest. This was made with the last of my scrap wood.

Note: still use it 4 years later.

That year I made myself a cheese cake 2013

For my Birthday I made myself a "Cheese Cake."

No today isn't my birthday!
The family still is not allowed to tell you when it is.
I had a quiet birthday, just like I wanted. It was perfect!

If you don't know when my birthday is it is because I don't really do birthdays, holidays, and most weekends. When I lived alone I only realized it was my birthday when I got a call with a bunch of screaming maniacs, my family, singing as terrible as they could, purposely, reminding me it wasn't just a workday.
You see when you know, without doubt, you should be dead many times over, birthdays become trivial.
Spend a few years sick unto dying, everyday is a new birth.

Truck sleeper... 2014

So to celebrate being completely debt free and After years of talking about doing it... I finally made the sleeper for my pickup. The top two are from last night, it was raining and I didn't have a place to stay so I pulled some of my stuff out of storage and made a bed. Today I invested $40 in lumber and elevated the bed. I will be making drawers and such. As well as a way to cover the windows.
